We are seeking a General Activities Therapist 2 (GAT2) to join our team at Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Or completion of associate degree in recreation; and 12 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in recreation; and 6 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.
Or 6 mos. exp. as General Activities Therapist 1, 44211.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

- Serve in an instructional capacity for youth; plan and implement recreational activities
- Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team; recommend group and/or individual treatment goals and activities; prepare and maintain reports for treatment team regarding behavior and progress
- Prepare weekly activity schedule; prepare and maintain inventory records of equipment and materials

Or completion of undergraduate core program in recreation; and 6 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.
