New Dawn is looking looking to hire an Activity Assistant to join our Activity Team
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a high level of organizational skills, initiative, creativity, and communicate well with others.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Be considerate, pleasant, and professional in the performance of his/her duties.
· Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the residents of the facility.
· Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives.
· Be Flexible with change and progressive growth in developing care plans to meet the ever changing needs of our resident population
. Experience a plus
MAIN DUTIES:
· The Activity Assistant would be responsible for the daily activities, and special events.
· Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
· Assure that all activity progress notes charted are informative and descriptive of the services provided and of the resident's response to the service
· Work with volunteers for the benefit of the residents.
