- This position will require in state travel and possible overnight stays*
- Serve as a liaison between District Construction staff and Central Office subject‑matter experts, ensuring uniform interpretation and application of construction policies and specifications.
- Represent Construction Staff Specialists by advising District construction teams on resolution strategies for complex constructability issues encountered during project delivery.Perform Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) and Technical Process Reviews (TPRs) on District construction management operations for major heavy‑highway construction projects to promote consistency statewide.
- Assist Construction Staff Specialists (Structures, Geotechnical, Hydraulics, Roadway) in developing inspection processes and providing constructability recommendations during the creation of Construction Specifications
- Gather best practices from District construction staff and field personnel across the state and evaluate them for potential adoption, standardization, and statewide implementation to improve consistency and elevate construction administration practices
- Provide input on Manual of Procedures (MOP) updates to ensure processes align with current inspection, testing, and reporting requirements tied to construction specifications.
- Provide training assistance and technical guidance to inspectors and district personnel on construction administration best practices.
- Support constructability reviews and provide technical input on construction projects throughout development and delivery.

12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp in supervisory principles & techniques or management which included responsibility for developing work plans involving estimates of time, personnel &/or equipment or materials required to complete projects, & In addition, applicants must meet one of the following depending upon the program projects assigned to the position in question: For positions involved in equipment maintenance & repair, requires 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in equipment maintenance & repair (i.e., automotive mechanics &/or auto body repair), associated safety practices, & using/operating associated equipment.
- Or for positions involved in bridge maintenance & repair, requires 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in bridge maintenance & repair, associated safety practices, & using/operating associated equipment.
- Or for positions involved in route marking, requires 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in route marking, associated safety practices, & using/operating-associated equipment.
- Or for positions involved in highway maintenance, requires 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in highway maintenance, associated safety practices, & using/operating associated equipment.
- Or for positions involved in construction, requires 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in construction, associated safety practices, & using/operating associated equipment or knowing how equipment is used on construction jobs.

- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
