Job Overview
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a Pharmacist to be a part of its Pharmacy unit. As a member of the Medicaid Pharmacy team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and assistance to pharmacists participating in the Ohio Medicaid Program, including development of prior authorization criteria
- Assisting in the management of the Medicaid Pharmacy Program
- Providing oversight of the Medicaid pharmacy benefit administrator and Single Pharmacy Benefit Manager
- Advising the Drug Utilization Review and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees
- Providing managed care pharmacy program oversight
- Reviewing state and federal rules and regulations related to pharmacy
