- Provides training and technical assistance on evidence based best practices in out of school time programs;
- Coordinates with academic and nonacademic supports throughout the Department to ensure programs align with state strategic initiatives in literacy, math, family engagement and attendance;
- Applies experience working in a school or out of school time setting to enhance alignment between school day and extended learning opportunities;
- Develops resources, presentations, and tools to assist programs with meeting grant requirements, supporting high impact programming, and partnering closely with school day educators to leverage out of school time as student success;
- Assists programs to expand opportunities for students through community partners and related programming available in out of school time; and
- Uses data to identify needs, resources, and planning to improve results for students participating in out of school time programs.
- Conducts desk reviews and onsite monitoring visits to programs;
- Provides customer service to grantees through regular check-ins, one-on-one technical assistance, grant specific training, and communication;
- Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to support implementation;
- Supports the Department’s application and selection process for grant program competition cycle; and
- Develops reports as requested.

- Working in an educational setting (K–12, or higher education) with experience leading out of school time programs
- Leading high-level initiatives focused on academic enrichment opportunities for students
- Providing technical assistance or guidance to educators, administrators, or out of school time entities
