What You’ll Do At DBH
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Position Qualifications
Requires current license as social worker (i.e., LSW) as issued by State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board in accordance with ORC 4757.28. Pursuant to ORC 4757.41 (A)(5) any person engaging in social work or professional counseling as a civil service employee as defined in section 124.01 of the Revised Code who has at least two years of service as of July 10, 2014 is exempt from current licensure as social worker (i.e. LSW) requirement.

- Coordinate assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide interventions with acute more complex clients
- Maintain necessary documentation
- Complete & maintains client records
- Complete & maintains discharge documents
- Coordinate referrals
- Plan & implement continuances of care from hospital to community by functioning as linkage for treatment team with case management system through ongoing regular collaboration
