Responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the daily receiving, processing, and dispensing of all physician orders; contributes to the efficient operation of the department and promotes the organizations core commitments. May be requested to be member of QI team. Frequently accesses email to stay up to date on information within the organization and provides a way of communication between staff members. Performs all procedures in accordance to established policies and procedures and adheres to legal compliance policies and other regulatory issues
Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent (May be allowed to sign a GED agreement to obtain within 6-months); Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Technician certification, previous years’ experience in pharmacy or nursing preferred, computer skills preferred.
