What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Clerk position at Ohio County Commission?
The Ohio County Clerk of the County Commission has an immediate opening for one (1) full time, permanent, Deputy Clerk position. Successful candidate will be a team employee and handle working in a fast paced, professional office. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility may be required. The position includes a full benefit package.
Duties include, but are not limited to, accurate data entry through effective computer skills, working with the public, miscellaneous clerical duties, and any other duties assigned.
Candidates should possess the following qualities: some legal knowledge regarding real estate and estates, attention to detail, ability to work with others in an open area, positive professional demeanor, and the ability to communicate well with the public and co-workers. Must have the appropriate professional work attire and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. Candidates must have a strong sense of attention to detail and accuracy.
