BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Under general supervision of FMR/General Ledger Supervisor, examines & analyzes financial data in order to assess accuracy, completeness, & conformance to reporting & procedural standards
- Performs-related duties (e.g. provides back-up for other general ledger accounting & investment accounting responsibilities as needed).
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and statement of cashflow for assigned fund(s).
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework in Accounting or completion of undergraduate core program in accounting (e.g. principles of accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, intermediate accounting, cost accounting, auditing, advanced accounting, governmental accounting); 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in accounting (e.g. preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, projections, reconciliation of investment portfolios, use of investment software &/or financial analysis), -OR-
- 3 yrs. trg. or 3 yrs. exp in accounting (e.g. preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, projections, reconciliation of investment portfolios, use of investment software &/or financial analysis), -OR-
- 12 mos. exp. As a Financial Analyst, 66562, performing duties such as preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, projections, reconciliation of investment portfolios, use of investment software &/or financial analysis.
