BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designs and builds custom reports sourcing data from various systems.
- Serves as BWC liaison with other state agencies to resolve any issues with billings or payments across multiple systems.
- Research billing inquiries and works with BWC’s Legal, Claims, and Self-Insured Departments to determine appropriateness of billings.
- Monitors Other States Coverage activity and works with BWC’s Other States Coverage Department to ensure accuracy of data in systems and reporting.
- Assists in updating and recommending changes in department policies and procedures.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Analyst, 66562.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
