Ohio Ambulance is looking for compassionate, caring, and dedicated professionals that want to develop skills to help some of our most vulnerable populations. As a Medical Transporter, you will partner with Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics to aide in the safe movement and transportation of non-emergent patients. These patients require an ambulance and an EMT to be transported to and from medical appointments, procedures, and treatments. The EMT will rely on you for preparation of the ambulance, assistance in moving the patient, and driving the ambulance. We will provide you with the training, certifications, and equipment to ensure your success. All you need to apply is a high school diploma or GED and a current valid driver’s license. Ohio Ambulance will provide a motor vehicle report, drug screen, and criminal background check. Clean driving record of at least 6 years is preferred. This position can be physically demanding at times. Standing, walking, driving, lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, handling, and grasping can all be required in the movement and transportation of patients.
