What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Rehabilitation Supervisor position at OHI Inc?
The Residential Rehabilitation Supervisor (RRS) shall have a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field.
LSW licensure or greater is preferred; two years’ experience in the human services field.
one-year direct contact experience with individuals with disabilities; and three years’ experience in leadership, supervision and administrative areas is required.
A minimum of an MHRT-C Level B is required upon hire. A full MHRT/C must be obtained prior to expiration of a Level B.
The Rehabilitation Supervisor (RRS) shall work on a Team and be responsible for overseeing assigned homes and services supporting persons with disabilities and for supervising staff. The RRS is accountable to the Team Coordinator.
The RRS will be responsible for the oversight of assigned licensed homes and services supporting adults with mental illness. The RRS is responsible for ensuring that quality supports and services are provided and that the philosophy of OHI is adhered to at all times. The RRS shall understand that people requiring support who have one disability, such as mental illness, can also have another disability such as a cognitive disability, a substance abuse disorder, or a medical condition. These conditions are called co-occurring disorders. The RRS shall promote OHI’s welcoming and effective provision of supports to people with co-occurring disorders
