What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Rehabilitation Technician position at OHI Inc?
The primary responsibility of the LRT shall be to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the LRT shall be responsible for completing quality assurance and administrative tasks.
$19.75-20.25 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS
- The LRT must have a minimum of one year of successful /Rehabilitation Technician-related experience. Prior job performance within OHI and supervisory experience shall be considered.
- The LRT shall actively pursue certification as an MHRT-C.
- The LRT must complete all required training and remain current in order to keep this job.
DUTIES
1.Complete accurate and timely financial paperwork.
2. Ensure records, including the electronic medical record, are up to date.
3. Ensure Medication Administration Records are accurate; medications are ordered, and other medical duties are completed. Conduct quality assurance checks on medications, ensure prescriptions are up to date, and schedule and communicate medical appointments.
4. Review pass down checklists to ensure they are completed, to include any required audits, including Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards kept at the home on each day worked.
5. Complete the Preventative Maintenance Checklist monthly.
6. Review daily documentation and follow up when needed.
7. Mentor Rehabilitation Technicians to ensure the OHI Philosophy is adhered to, and people are being supported to live as independently as possible.
8. Ensure monthly corporate vehicle checks are completed to include oil changes, tire rotations, State Inspection and coordinate quarterly inspections with the Property Manager.
9. Ensure fire drills are completed and documented including required overnight drills. Ensure disaster drills are completed in compliance with the Disaster Policy. Complete and document Fire Extinguisher inspections, water temperature checks, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) checks.
10. Ensure licensing certifications, such as Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) certificates, are in the home.
11. Ensure incident reports are completed and submitted to the RRS or RCA by the end of each day. Ensure medication error incident reports are faxed to the Manager of Human Resources and Professional Development each day.
12. Work collaboratively, hand-in-hand with the RRS, RCA, Team Coordinator and Rehabilitation Technicians.
13. Provide direct support.
14. Attend all Staff Meetings and Clinical supervision as scheduled.
15. Participate in gathering information needed for assessments and treatment planning.
16. Ensure the Census Book is completed.
17. Schedule Rehabilitation Technicians.
18. Scan documents into the Electronic Medical Record.
19. Provide transportation.
20. Ensure deep cleaning is done. Ensure all cleaning is complete day/night.
21. Ensure menus and all special diets are followed.
22. Other duties as assigned.
