What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Counselor/ Individual Supports position at Ohel Children's Home and Family Services?
Ohel Respite Programs is seeking creative, dedicated, and responsible staff to provide one-on-one support to adults with developmental disabilities living at home in their communities. Experience and a valid driver's license are strongly preferred but not required. Strong English communication skills are essential. We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules, with day, evening, and weekend shifts available. Positions are available throughout Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Union, Middlesex, Ocean, and Monmouth Counties.
Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan with employee contribution, sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and for full time employees, health insurance. Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements.
Salary: $18.75- $20.75 per hour
