Ohel is seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Entitlements Department as an Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for managing the financial billing and collection cycle for clients receiving Social Security (SSA/SSI) and Medicaid benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client billing and collections processes
- Maintain and update client Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) accounts
- Generate and distribute client invoices and statements
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Accurately track client personal fund accounts and agency service fees
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Prior bookkeeping and/or data management experience
