You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:

Responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Specialist (Classification and Compensation), at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties:- Develop, implement, and manage strategies and guidance that facilitate, enhance, and expand the capabilities of ICE to successfully manage the classification and compensation programs to assist ICE in meeting its mission needs.
- Provide seasoned consultative skills and advisory services to ICE senior leadership, OHC leadership, program office leadership, program managers and operating HR practitioners regarding solutions to highly complex, sensitive, and/or precedent setting position management, position classification and compensation matters.
- Lead projects and studies of considerable scope and depth to include the development of classification and compensation models that involve extensive analysis of large, multi-mission, complex or diverse organizations to strengthen and support existing and new compensation initiatives
- Conduct human capital guidance reviews to evaluate effectiveness of current human capital guidance and practices and/or develop proposals to change guidance within ICE's classification and compensation programs or to change guidance within additional specialized HR fields.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in compensation and classification concepts and philosophies that may impact OHC program efforts.
