We are a newly opened, family-owned Vietnamese cafe in the heart of San Marcos. Known for our warm, welcoming vibes and authentic flavors, we specialize in crispy Banh Mi sandwiches, traditional Vietnamese Coffee, and high-quality Matcha.
We have quickly become a go-to spot for the San Marcos community, and we are looking for passionate, energetic individuals to join our founding team. If you love great food, artisanal drinks, and want to grow alongside a local business, we want to meet you!
The Role
As a Front of House Team Member, you are the face of Oh My Pate. You’ll be responsible for creating a "home away from home" atmosphere for our guests while crafting delicious beverages and ensuring every Banh Mi is served with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Barista Excellence: Prepare and serve Vietnamese coffee, matcha lattes, and boba drinks with consistency and care.
- Guest Experience: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using our Square POS system, and answer questions about our menu.
- Cafe Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area and service station.
- Teamwork: Assist with light food assembly (Banh Mi prep) and ensure smooth communication between the front and back of the house.
- Community Connection: Help us maintain our reputation as the friendliest local spot in San Marcos.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
