We are currently seeking an experienced service techs who can perform residential HVAC system maintenance & repair service.
Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components within HVAC systems.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, plumbing connections, and electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain HVAC system performance through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
- Assist with the installation of new HVAC equipment following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during every interaction.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all performed tasks.
- Comply with EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards.
- Support property maintenance activities by ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently within building infrastructure.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician working with various mechanical systems in construction or property maintenance environments.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration principles, plumbing connections, and HVAC design concepts.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems related to HVAC operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding large-scale system installations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.
