Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient services
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Skills:
- Experience as a medical receptionist or secretary preferred
- Knowledge of medical records systems and patient service protocols
- Familiarity with receptionist duties is a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and scheduling software (e.g., RingCentral, AdvancedMD)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
