Housekeeping Dispatcher

Prepare daily assignment sheets and coordinate communication between housekeeping, guests and the front desk. Ensure that all office duties within the department are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare daily assignment sheets for rooms and cottages
• Maintain contact with front desk staff and housekeeping staff
• Answer housekeeping telephone and address items as needed
• Communicate with Supervisors, crew leaders and managers regarding room's issues and status', VIP's and any other housekeeping related issues
• Enter maintenance work orders into HotSOS. Communicate urgent maintenance work orders to the front desk.
• Ensure proper assigning of keys, team assignments, and cart or van issues
• Coordinate guest requests with staff
• Utilize the computer for necessary information to service the guests
• Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
• Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material
• Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions
• Maintain scheduling and event calendars
• Complete forms in accordance with company procedures
• Schedule and confirm appointments for clients or supervisors
• Monitor daily ADP timekeeping system for department.
• Interact with the public with a cheerful attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees
• Other duties assign by Manager.
• Request purchase orders and pay invoices as needed and update the checkbook
  
  

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent training and work experience.
