Dog Daycare Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Dog Daycare Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional experience for our clients and their pups. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the dog daycare facility, coordinate activities, and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment. Duties

• Opening shift - 5:45AM - 10:00AM
• Supervise daily dog daycare activities, ensuring all dogs are engaged, safe, and well-cared-for throughout the day
• Train staff on proper dog handling, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices
• Oversee pet grooming, feeding, medication administration, and cleaning routines to maintain hygiene standards
• Monitor dog behavior to identify signs of stress or aggression; implement appropriate intervention strategies
• Coordinate with veterinary professionals for health concerns or emergencies involving dogs in our care
• Manage scheduling, staff assignments, and customer service interactions to deliver outstanding client experiences
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and animal handling regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel management with a strong understanding of animal behavior
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and pet grooming skills to support comprehensive care services
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their needs confidently
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies related to animal care
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong salesman skills

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
