Duties
- Supervise daily dog daycare activities, ensuring all dogs are engaged, safe, and well-cared-for throughout the day
- Train staff on proper dog handling, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices
- Oversee pet grooming, feeding, medication administration, and cleaning routines to maintain hygiene standards
- Monitor dog behavior to identify signs of stress or aggression; implement appropriate intervention strategies
- Coordinate with veterinary professionals for health concerns or emergencies involving dogs in our care
- Assist manage scheduling, staff assignments, and customer service interactions to deliver outstanding client experiences
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and animal handling regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel management with a strong understanding of animal behavior
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and pet grooming skills to support comprehensive care services
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their needs confidently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies related to animal care
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong salesman skills
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
