Job Summary And Qualifications
As the Central Sterile Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family, and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
Ogden Regional Medical Center has been delivering exceptional care for over 75 years. Our 230 plus bed hospital offers a full array of medical services. We are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare. Ogden Regional is a certified Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Joint Center.
Affiliated with our hospital is Pleasant View Emergency Center. This fully equipped, freestanding facility features board-certified physicians. Our nurses and technicians are specially trained in emergency medical care and available on a 24/7 basis.
Located 10 miles north of our main hospital, PVER features 10 plus treatment rooms, comprehensive imaging technology and a medical laboratory onsite, which help to ensure accurate and prompt care.

Job Summary And Qualifications
As the Central Sterile Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family, and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
- You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs.
- You will use microbiology, instrumentation, and hand cleaning techniques for equipment and machines.
- You will print an appropriate doctor’s preference list, assemble case carts, and fill in requisitions.
- You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments.
- You will be responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators, and their monitoring cleaning.
- Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred.
- CRCST certification required within 1 year of hire date.
- Familiarity with knowledge of medical supplies is highly preferred.
- Prior experience is not required but is preferred.
