Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our Commercial Overhead Door team in Fort Worth, TX. In this full-time, in-office role, you will be responsible for scheduling commercial service and installation jobs, coordinating with technicians, customers, and project managers to ensure timely and efficient completion of work. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch technicians for commercial service and install jobs based on skill set, location, and project timelines
- Conducts open communication with all vendors and customers to keep them informed of material ETA’s.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer expectations and deadlines
- Communicate with customers regarding scheduling updates, arrival times, and reschedules
- Collaborate with project managers, sales, and operations teams to ensure accurate job documentation and timelines
- Maintain and update scheduling software with current job statuses and technician availability
- Assist in managing workload priorities and technician capacity
- Provide administrative support as needed to help the department run smoothly
Qualifications:
- Previous scheduling or dispatching experience, ideally in construction, trades, or service-based industries
- Prior experience with customer service over the phone is a must
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in scheduling and CRM software (ServiceTitan, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training a plus
