JOB TITLE

Digital Coordinator or Junior Digital Account Executive - Social Media (based on experience)

SALARY

$45k-$55k/year; full-time role 

LOCATION

Must be based in or easily accessible to NYC. This role will be fully remote with the possibility of attending client meetings, events, and photoshoots in person.

JOB SUMMARY 

The Digital Coordinator / Junior Digital Account Executive will support the agency across social media and influencer needs. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include:

• Support on copywriting needs across clients 
• Assist in managing daily social media activity for clients across platforms like Instagram and TikTok
• Help create and maintain content calendars, including scheduling posts with attention to copy, timing, and platform best practices
• Monitor and engage with communities across clients: respond to comments and DMs in brand voice, repost applicable content, flag key insights and trends
• Support content creation: gather inspiration, assist on set, source UGC, and collaborate with the creative team to organize and manage content assets
• Track post performance and support analytics reporting across accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Work with the social and creator teams on monthly and quarterly reports
• Assist with placing creator gifting orders
• Stay informed on platform updates, beauty trends, social formats, and competitor activity
• Read daily industry updates and share industry news recaps with the agency and clients where relevant
• Schedule client meetings and calls
• Create call agendas and recaps for client calls
• Support the social media and creator teams with day-to-day activities

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 1 year of experience in social media, preferably at an agency working with beauty brands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Slack 
• Strong knowledge and passion of the social media and influencer space, both on established and newer mediums (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, etc.) 
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and passion for the beauty space
• Passion for culture, creativity, and storytelling

BONUS SKILLS

• Understanding of performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions, CTR)
• Experience assisting with content shoots and content creator campaigns

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
