**Pipe Laborer -- 2 positions**
**Position Description**
This position is responsible for safely assembling, connecting, repairing, installing, and constructing pipe systems for storm drain, sanitary sewer, water (potable and non-potable) and/or dry utilities. Two (2) years of pipelaying experience in underground construction, preferred.
**Essential Duties**
Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools. Use instruments including but not limited to lasers, grade rods, eye levels and transit levels to set appropriate grade for pipe installation. Grade or level trench bases, using tampering machines or hand tools. Cut pipes to required lengths. Align and position pipes to prepare for welding or sealing. Connect multiples pipes and seal joints using mechanical fittings welding equipment, cement, or glue. Other duties as assigned. Must pass pre-employment drug test prior to working.
**Position Requirements**
Position requires employee to FREQUENTLY, stand, walk, twist, bend, handle objects, reach outward, reach above head and shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, bend, and frequently lift /carry/push/pull/move/drag on flat ground or steep slopes. Must pass pre-employment.
**Work Environment**
Work is outdoors. Working conditions range from frigid to hot temps, high winds, flying dust, slipping hazards, rain, snow, sleet, frequently exposed to loud noise from heavy equipment and machinery.
**Must have documentation for completing I-9 form for employer.**
**Must have resided in the state of Wyoming for at least 90 days.**
