What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Diesel Technician position at Oftedal Construction, Inc.?
Company Field Mechanics diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, haul trucks, blades, scrapers and loaders. Our Field Mechanics regularly remove, repair, or replace components on engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air systems, fuel systems, transmissions and other power train related systems. Minimum Qualifications: Three years field experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment used in heavy-civil and/or mining industries. Must be able to read and understand heavy equipment manuals along with oil and cross reference guides. Minimum Class B, CDL. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement preferred. Must have clean MVR.
