Proficiently and safely diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on mobile heavy equipment and trucks with moderate supervision.

- Inspect mobile heavy equipment pinpointing operating deficiencies and excessive machine and/or component wear.
- Working with hand wrenches, hammers, impact tools, torque wrenches, grinders, screw drivers, measuring devices, over head hoists, cranes, slings, chains, electrical testing tools, hydraulic testing tools, micrometers, gauges and a variety of other hand tools, routinely dismantle, rebuild, adjust and repair primary systems (drive train, hydraulic, fuel, air, brake, pneumatic, electrical, steering, suspension, exhaust) on mobile heavy equipment and highway legal trucks and trailers.
- Provide shop foreman time estimates, inventory of parts or special tools required to complete assigned project.
- Using an established checklist, prove all repairs and workmanship done on machines, trucks or other equipment were properly completed and the item is fully operational and prepared to mobilize for productive work.
- Complete and submit accurate work orders.
- Perform minor fabrication, alterations and repairs to equipment using MIG, TIG and oxygen/acetylene welding and cutting equipment. Operate various equipment including forklifts, trucks and heavy equipment.
