Job Summary

Offshore Energy Services is seeking an experienced, safety-minded Oilfield Shop Foreman to lead our team in Weatherford, OK. This leadership role requires comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of casing tools. You will oversee daily shop operations, supervise shop hands, and ensure the highest standards of safety and tool reliability. In addition to technical oversight, you will manage critical administrative tasks, including reviewing operational paperwork, generating computerized digital load-out sheets, and reviewing equipment certifications.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

Leadership & Tool Building Oversight

• Technical Oversight: Direct and quality-check the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of hydraulic/mechanical Casing Running Tools (CRTs), hydraulic power tongs, and handling equipment.
• Team Supervision: Schedule, delegate, and manage the daily workflow of Shop Hands, ensuring maximum productivity and strict adherence to technical procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Final-check all finished assemblies to ensure they match customer specifications and meet rigorous OES reliability standards before leaving the shop.

Compliance, Digital Management & Logistics

• Paperwork Review: Audit and verify all specialized pre-job measurements, technical paperwork, and observe functional testing.
• Computerized Load-Out Sheets: Build, format, and organize precise equipment load-out sheets within the company system to streamline job building.
• Certification Tracking: Confirm third-party and internal certifications for tools, ensuring all outbound equipment is fully compliant and certified.
• Logistics Coordination: Supervise the safe loading/unloading of trucks.

Safety Leadership & Housekeeping

• Safety Enforcement: Champion the facility's safety culture, ensuring all personnel strictly follow company standards, OSHA regulations, and wear appropriate PPE.
• Incident Prevention: Lead hazard assessments, conduct shop safety meetings, and maintain a spotless, organized work environment across all tool racks and wash bays.

Job Requirements

• Expertise: Deep, verifiable technical knowledge of casing tools (tongs, slips, and CRTs) is strictly required.
• Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience with casing equipment in an oilfield shop environment, with previous leadership or foreman experience highly preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with computers to navigate database software, upload documentation, and build load-out sheets.
• Location: Must reside within a 1-hour driving radius of the Weatherford, OK facility.
• Logistics & Licenses: Valid driver’s license, secondary form of identification, and reliable personal transportation.
• Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Apparel: Must possess personal safety-toe boots (Offshore Energy Services provides company uniforms).

Skills & Interpersonal Attributes

• Supervisory Skills: Proven ability to manage a team, defuse workplace conflicts, and train junior shop staff.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to read, interpret, and audit complex technical manuals, customer job cards.
• Administrative Precision: Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing tool measurements and building load out sheets.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Screening: Must successfully pass a pre-employment urinalysis drug and alcohol screening.
• Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds; frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Ability to frequently stand on concrete floors, walk, climb, balance, and actively inspect the shop floor.
• Work Environment: Frequent exposure to industrial shop conditions including extreme heat, cold, indoor noise, and mechanical hazards.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
