Counsel or Junior Partner – Commercial Litigation (DMV Region)
Tysons, VA or Bethesda, MD
Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced commercial litigation attorney at the Counsel or Junior Partner level to join our Tysons Corner or Bethesda office. We are looking for a litigator with 7–12 years of experience and a small book of business who can independently manage and lead commercial litigation matters.
This attorney will take on litigation matters from other partners, oversee junior associates, and continue building their own practice. The ideal candidate will be able to lead cases from inception through resolution, including drafting, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation, while also managing junior associates as needed.
Requirements:
• 7–12 years of commercial litigation experience
• DC and VA bar admissions required (MD bar is a plus)
• Modest portable book of business with interest in growing on a national platform
• Demonstrated ability to run cases and supervise others
