Floater Doorstep Trash & Recycling Collector - Sparks, NV (Spanish Springs) Part time- Evenings- Monday's

WSI Doorstep Trash & Recycling Collector Floaters are responsible for providing door-to-dumpster removal services of bagged apartment residential trash and recycling (including broken down boxes) from kitchen-sized bins. Substitution, vacation coverage, and emergency fill-in queries are sent out on an as-needed basis for Sparks, NV (Spanish Springs). This is not an on-call position. Compensation for this position is paid on an hourly basis.

If the Doorstep Trash & Recycling Collector Floater desires to transition working at a community on a regular basis, the Floater is given priority consideration for permanent assignments as they become available.

Pay: $20-$25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Onsite equipment and/or a pickup truck is used to move trash & recycling to onsite dumpster/compactor locations. A pickup truck is required for some locations.
• Report any service compliance issues and unusual or safety-related incidences that may occur while onsite.
• Service times vary, as needed. Most services take place during evening hours (after 6PM) Monday-Friday. Service completion averages between 1-3 hours to complete.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be conscientious, reliable and exhibit a positive and helpful attitude towards property staff and residents.
• Must be able to adapt to evolving and changing work environments requiring troubleshooting and decision making.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and must be willing to undergo a criminal background check. (Each background check is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Prior charges or convictions do not necessarily disqualify employment.)
• A valid Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle in Nevada is required. (Valid documentation included but not limited to Auto Liability Insurance and Driver's license must be maintained.)
• Must be able to physically lift and transport up to 50 lbs. and able to work in indoor and outdoor environments during various weather conditions.
• Must be able to ascend or descend stairs and walk for prolonged periods of time.
