Key Responsibilities- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Process payroll and payroll-related filings as needed
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Reconcile credit card accounts and manage expense tracking
- Assist with year-end reporting and collaboration with CPAs
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial matters
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Bookkeeping experience in restaurants and/or property management
- Experience handling sales tax, hospitality tax, or tenant/owner reconciliations
