Policy Division. The Office of Finance secures and safeguards financial resources to enable CBP's mission. The incumbent serves as an analyst, supporting OF management by applying qualitative and quantitative methods to assist in the development, evaluation, and improvement
of financial policies, contributing to program operations and the implementation of data-driven systems that advance CBP's mission and strategic objectives.
This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $158,322 (GS-13 Step 10).

Qualifications:
Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:- Developing and maintaining standardized program policies and procedures to ensure compliance with mission.
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Organizing and coordinating thorough, systematic, and professional efforts to meet complex finance policy development and implementation processes to provide written and oral reports with conclusions, alternative and recommendation on policies, projects, and studies.
- Planning, organizing and directing collaborative efforts across organizational lines, ensuring progress is monitored, realistic goals and milestones are set, responsibilities are clearly assigned, and mission requirements are completed on time.

- Supporting, researching and analyzing existing and emerging finance-related policies and processes based on analysis of current and emerging issues, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
- Collaborating with Office of Finance staff and financial leadership to address operational needs.
- Ensuring compliance with law, rules, and mandates from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), DHS and the Department of Treasury.
- Assisting in developing plans and criteria for implementing and maintaining the CBP Conference Approval Program and the OF Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Portal to assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and CBP and policies.
