In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
To qualify for this position of Operations Coordinator (GS-11) you must meet the qualification requirements listed below by the closing of this announcement:
For GS-11:
Specialized Experience: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience defined as: Resolving problems of a non-technical nature; reviewing legal documents for adherence to policies and procedures; evaluating office operations to determine improvement; performing administrative office duties (such as providing input on personnel actions, preparing requisitions, monitoring resources, or coordinating and balancing workload) and providing training to employees.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education Substitution: You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as a business or management degree.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: You may qualify by a combination of experience and education: Options for qualifying based on a combination are identified in the online questions.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Responsibilities:
As an Operations Coordinator, you will:
- Serve as the focal point for coordinating and administratively handling complex or unique calls
- Coordinate support services with other PODs
- Serve as a contact for reporting maintenance issues to property management
- Responsible for overseeing vendor repairs
- Serve as local contact for IRS IT support matters
- Conduct studies of support staff workflows
- Monitor legal assistant work as a back up to ensure information is properly input into office related systems
