In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals involved in providing expert-level strategic leadership and guidance for critical agency-wide programs and initiatives; overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex programs and initiatives; advisor to Senior CBP Leadership; providing expert interpretations and recommendations that shape agency-wide strategy and decision-making; representing CBP in high-level meetings and conferences; and providing supervisory and technical leadership to a team of professional staff, overseeing their work and ensuring the effective implementation of agency-wide programs and initiatives.

Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:- Managing and directing work, planning work assignments, and personnel management responsibilities.
- Developing and implementing advanced analytical tools and techniques, to track and align spending on specific programs with performance outcome measures, to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Conducting in-depth data analysis to identify trends, informing strategic decisions, and driving program improvements at the organizational level.
- Collaborating with stakeholders at various levels to address programmatic needs involving planning, budgeting, and accountability.
- Leading data analysis efforts to identify root causes of complex issues and proposing actionable solutions to enhance program effectiveness, organizational performance, and assessing financial return.

This position starts at a salary of $169,279.00 (GS-15, Step 1) to $197,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10).
