Duties

• Carefully unpack, assemble, and install a variety of office furniture pieces including desks, cubicles, conference tables, shelving units, and ergonomic accessories.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to ensure secure and precise installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately.
• Verify the functionality of installed furniture, making adjustments as necessary for stability and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation timelines are met and specifications are fulfilled.
• Conduct safety checks throughout the installation process to maintain a secure work environment.
• Maintain organized work areas, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after each project.

Requirements

• Proven experience with furniture assembly or related hands-on installation work preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as an ohmmeter effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot installation issues promptly.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy furniture items safely and stand for extended periods during installations.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients clearly and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
