About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Agent to support our asset acquisition efforts through high-volume outbound prospecting. This position functions similarly to a Sales Development (BDR/SDR) role and is highly quota-driven.
This role requires daily cold calling, cold emailing, and structured outbound outreach to engage businesses and source surplus IT and electronic equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working toward clearly defined activity and performance metrics.
This position is 100% on-site and not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Compensation, Ownership & Growth
- Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$75,000 for entry-level candidates who meet performance expectations

Core Responsibilities
- Execute daily outbound prospecting to source surplus IT and electronic equipment from businesses
- Complete 2–3 hours per day of cold calling using our auto-dialer (ConnectAndSell)
- Perform a minimum of 50 manual outbound dials per day
- Conduct cold email and multi-touch outreach to support calling efforts
- Identify, engage, and qualify decision-makers (IT, Operations, Finance, Facilities, etc.)
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and purchasing quotas
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records (calls, emails, notes, outcomes)
- Follow structured outreach scripts and processes while adapting messaging based on results
Required Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to perform high-volume cold calling daily
- Comfort working in a quota-driven, metrics-focused environment
- Strong phone presence and verbal communication skills
- Resilience and consistency in handling rejection
- Strong organizational skills and attention to CRM accuracy
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Experience in BDR, SDR, inside sales, outbound purchasing, or telemarketing
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and auto-dialers
- Exposure to procurement, IT services, asset recovery, or electronics recycling
