The job scope of the Quality Inspector II within Odyssey Medical Technologies will include, but is not limited to the following duties:
· Knowledgeable in the use of measuring equipment: automated inspection equipment, comparators, profilometers, drop indicators, height gages, micrometers, calipers, thread gauges
· Read and interpret blue prints for all conventional tolerancing and GD&T
· Ability to assist others in interpretation of GD&T tolerances
· Troubleshoot and improve quality processes for maximum efficiency
· Follow GMP, FDA, ISO, and Odyssey Medical Technologies company operational procedures
· Thorough paperwork review for missing or incorrect information
· A Quality Inspector II works with the Quality Manager and Technicians to ensure exceptional outbound quality
· Assist in disposition of nonconforming product
· Have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Basic Qualifications:
· 3 to 5 years of quality inspection experience
· Proficiency with GD&T and print reading
Preferred Qualifications:
· 5 years experience in inspecting implantable devices
· Certified Quality Inspector
· Certified in GD&T
Summary: The Quality Inspector II position will primarily function as a final inspector responsible for releasing product and controlling outbound quality. The successful Quality Inspector II will use experience to guide decision making and assisting others with interpretation of prints and specifications.
Quality Inspector III may also apply for qualified applicants
