Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Survey Technician (I or II based on qualifications and experience) to join our dynamic surveying team. Working under the direct supervision of RPLS, candidate will prepare boundary surveys, topographic surveys, metes and bounds descriptions with exhibit maps, subdivision plats and other land development services as needed. This position will be in contact daily with field parties for collection of field data.
Duties
- Work closely with the Project Manager and/or Project Surveyor to perform and coordinate various survey assignments, including boundary, topographic and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
- Review, process and manage field-collected survey data and produce final deliverables utilizing CAD and specialized survey software.
- Verify the precision and completeness of survey calculations, documentation, and final products.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to support project objectives and scheduling requirements.
- Maintain compliance with applicable local, state and federal surveying regulations and standards.
- Support and uphold company safety practices to help maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of progressively responsible land surveying experience.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and survey related software programs such as Leica Infinity.
- Understanding of boundary analysis, easements, legal descriptions, and related surveying principles.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and work in a team environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Texas Drivers License (Required)
- Level II Certified Survey Technician Certification (Preferred)
- Surveyor in Training Certificate (Preferred)
