Job Description
ODM Construction is a residential builder with a reputation for craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and on-time delivery. We are looking for an experienced for a Experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of our residential projects — including new home construction, custom builds, remodels, and renovations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients with equal confidence. You will own your projects from pre-construction through final walk-through.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple residential projects simultaneously — new builds, remodels, and additions — from pre-construction through closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
- Source, hire, and manage subcontractors; review bids and negotiate contracts
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, inspectors, and municipalities for permits and approvals
- Conduct regular on-site walkthroughs to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Lead client communication — provide weekly updates, manage change orders, and resolve issues promptly
- Track project financials, including job costing, invoicing, and forecasting against budget
- Mentor field staff and assistant project managers; uphold company standards on every project
- Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on time and on budget
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of project management experience in residential construction (custom homes, remodels, additions)
- Proven track record managing multiple projects with budgets ranging from mid-six to seven figures
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, building codes, and local permitting processes
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Skilled with construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills — confident handling clients, subs, and field crews
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, job costing, change order management
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
