Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site service for a wide range of commercial and residential appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems in diverse settings.
- Install new appliances, HVAC equipment, and mechanical components following manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues.
- Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to various customer locations; maintain a clean driving record.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Document all service activities thoroughly in work orders, including parts used, repairs performed, and time spent.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC & appliance technology standards.
- Experience with refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, kitchen equipment maintenance, and appliance installation.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools safely and effectively; experience with MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; able to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles responsibly.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces or elevated areas, and perform manual tasks as required.
- Leadership qualities are a plus for mentoring apprentices or junior technicians.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.15 per hour
