Compliance Officer – Global Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund | New York
A leading global, multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire an experienced Compliance Officer to join its New York office.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team and work closely with both the Legal and Compliance functions in central compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence and prepare reviews on data and research vendors, including assessment of usage rights and data sourcing practices
- Review and approve expert network requests, chaperone calls, and maintain records of interactions
- Review and track web-scraping requests for compliance with firm policies
- Provide guidance on matters related to material non-public information, research, and data usage
- Monitor regulatory developments and evolving data privacy regulations
- Support the wider Compliance team with regulatory requirements and ongoing initiatives
- Escalate issues and contribute to ad-hoc compliance projects
Key Requirements:
- 5 years’ legal or compliance experience within financial services
- Experience in research and data vendor due diligence strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD advantageous
- Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment

Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
