Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which must include the following experience: Directing and overseeing supervisory staff and organizational operations; developing, implementing, and evaluating agency-wide personnel suitability and select agent security programs; advising on the pre-access and ongoing suitability program for personnel.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Responsibilities:
As a Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist you will:- Develop and implement national level guidance in agency standards, guidelines, or policies for the personnel suitability/security program.
- Determine appropriate recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up.
- Maintain a safe and healthful workplace that provides protection for worker and the public.
- Develop, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external programs supporting the Personnel Security functions.
