Security Architect

Security Architect - Atlanta, GA - Hybrid - US CITIZENS OR GC HOLDERS ONLY!

A growing, nationally recognized law firm is looking for a Security Architect to design and oversee high-level security solutions for our global infrastructure. You will be the technical lead for our cloud maturity, specifically optimizing our Azure, Zscaler, and Microsoft Defender stacks to protect sensitive legal data.

Core Impact

• Design & Implement: Build robust security frameworks for Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring all infrastructure and application plans meet enterprise standards.
• Zero Trust Leadership: Integrate and optimize secure web gateways (ZIA/ZPA) and manage cloud security posture (CSPM) to maintain a modern defense.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with IT and Business stakeholders to align technical risk management with global firm objectives.
• Vulnerability Remediation: Work with Cyber Risk teams to analyze assessments and build remediation strategies for identified threats.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure our global footprint adheres to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 5 years in Cybersecurity with a heavy focus on Security Architecture and Cloud environments.
• Azure Expert: Deep proficiency in Azure Sentinel, Azure AD, Azure Firewall, and Security Center.
• Zscaler Proficiency: Hands-on familiarity with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Private Access (ZPA).
• Microsoft Defender Suite: Expert knowledge of Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, and Office 365.
• Frameworks: Strong understanding of Zero Trust models, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Security certifications are highly preferred.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating security controls via PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of container security and cloud automation templates.
• Background in securing modern application architectures within public cloud environments.
