Catering and Sales Manager

Job Details:

THE ROLE

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for marketing, selling, and detailing catered events while collaborating closely with the sales, events, culinary, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the catering sales team to achieve sales and service goals.
• Develop and execute sales plans, prospect new business, and manage repeat accounts.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Ensure accuracy of client accounts and adherence to sales policies.
• Partner with operational teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage client communication, tastings, pre-event details, and on-site support.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups and maintain accurate sales reports and tracking.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 4 years of sales or catering sales experience; venue or event industry experience a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and maintain a professional presence.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
