What You'll Do

• Obtain insurance authorizations and pre-certifications for surgeries.
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information.
• Coordinate surgical paperwork with physicians, surgery centers, and insurance companies.
• Review records for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with patients and internal teams throughout the surgical process.
• Crosstrain to support Surgical Coordinators and front desk operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a patient-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Previous medical office or insurance authorization experience is preferred.
• Ophthalmology experience is a plus but not required.
