What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position at Oceanview Landscape Inc?
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage landscape maintenance crew(s), ensuring all team members understand daily objectives and perform work to Oceanview’s standards.

Perform daily truck and trailer inspections, ensuring all equipment, tools, and materials are secure, operational, and safely loaded before leaving the yard.

Drive company trucks with trailers and ensure safe operation and proper transportation of equipment.

Oversee crew timekeeping, including clocking the team in and out accurately using the company’s software.

Ensure proper use, care, and basic maintenance of all machines and tools, addressing issues immediately and reporting major repairs to management.

Follow the daily and weekly maintenance schedules and adjust as needed based on weather, priorities, or client needs.

Direct and implement proper landscape practices on all job sites to maintain consistent excellence across properties.

Communicate effectively with managers, providing updates on job progress, challenges, and any client concerns.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in workflows, routing, equipment use, and crew performance.

Train, mentor, and guide crew members to ensure they understand best practices, safety procedures, and company expectations.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization for trucks, trailers, equipment, and job sites.

Represent Oceanview professionally and ensure all work aligns with company values.

Minimum (5) years of experience in landscape maintenance and crew leading

Extensive knowledge and experience with maintaining high-end properties, while utilizing correct procedures to attain excellence on all of our jobs

Clean, NYS driver's license

The ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a high-energy environment

Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
