Position Overview
The HVAC Sales Representative conducts in‑home consultations with residential customers, assesses their comfort needs, presents customized HVAC solutions, and closes sales. The right candidate builds trust quickly, communicates clearly, and delivers a professional, high‑quality sales experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous in‑home sales experience (HVAC strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to close residential sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, homeowner‑friendly manner
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and well organized
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Conduct in‑home consultations with residential HVAC customers
- Evaluate existing HVAC systems and identify customer needs
- Recommend appropriate replacement and upgrade options
- Present system features, pricing, and financing options clearly and confidently
- Close sales and consistently meet or exceed performance goals
- Accurately document customer information and sales activity
- Collaborate with operations and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
