As an Operations Coordinator you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of maritime vessels. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating and overseeing various operational aspects, including personnel deployment, resource allocation, and administrative support. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety. This position will be a Hybrid/Remote with visits to the local office or project locations as needed to support vessel and project operations.

About The Team
Focusing on deepwater installations and field developments, we deliver tailored solutions—from the routine to the extreme. We provide fit-for-purpose engineering design through the entire asset lifecycle, including decommissioning. We contract, manage, engineer, and execute projects using our global vessel fleet, including Jones Act-compliant vessels, advanced technologies, and highly skilled personnel.

Your responsibilities will involve coordinating and overseeing various operational aspects, including personnel deployment, resource allocation, and administrative support. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety. This position will be a Hybrid/Remote with visits to the local office or project locations as needed to support vessel and project operations.
Responsibilities
- Support maritime vessel operations by coordinating personnel, scheduling, and administrative tasks as needed by the Project Manager and Operations team.
- Assist in the execution of operational plans and strategies, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
- Assist the Operations Team as needed with Mariner hiring process and administrative tasks.
- Monitor and manage resources, including equipment and supplies, to optimize vessel performance.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide project support by coordinating and tracking project milestones, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for vessel operations, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular vessel inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and address any operational challenges or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by Senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maritime or operations-related role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required both domestic and international.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card and pass a background check.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Marine Operations, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred, experience can be substituted if relevant to the Maritime & Operations field.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry best practices is preferred.
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
- Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
- Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
- Work surface is stable (flat)
