Overview
We are a growing print and production company expanding our Print-on-Demand business. Our services include custom book printing, calendar printing, short-run digital printing, binding, laminating, and other custom print products.
We are looking for a hands-on Print-on-Demand Business Manager / Digital Print Production Lead to manage daily production, improve workflow, communicate with customers, and help grow this business segment. Our equipment includes Konica digital printers, perfect binding machines, hole punching machines, double-loop wire binding machines, and laminating equipment.
Duties
- Manage daily POD production, including book printing, calendar printing, binding, laminating, finishing, packaging, and delivery coordination.
- Review customer requirements, recommend print and finishing options, provide quotes, and follow up on order details.
- Oversee file review, proofing, scheduling, production, quality control, and final packaging.
- Operate or coordinate digital printing and finishing equipment.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, publishers, authors, schools, businesses, ecommerce sellers, and other potential POD clients.
- Help bring in new POD orders and develop business opportunities.
Experience
- Experience in digital printing, print production, print shop operations, or Print-on-Demand production is strongly preferred.
- Experience with book printing, calendar printing, binding, laminating, cutting, or other finishing equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Konica digital printers or similar production printers is preferred.
- Ability to review print files and understand paper size, paper type, binding methods, finishing requirements, and production timelines.
- Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple print jobs and work independently in a hands-on production environment.
- Basic computer skills required. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or print workflow software is a plus.
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
